Can pureos play comercial dvd's at all?

I just tried this. It said:

dbrokaw@DRBL14:~$ apt --fix-broken install
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend - open (13: Permission denied)
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), are you root?

Sorry, as @Eyegore explained, I should have written sudo apt --fix-broken-install. What do you get from that?
