I don’t remember if I mentioned it but I didn’t have any success using jumpdrive to fix the issue, I’ve had to clean reflash (losing data). I’ve since set up backups with borgbackup (emborg), which is good since I’ve had to reflash once or twice again due to the LUKS volume somehow corrupting or the initramfs not being able to decrypt it. I could enter the password but it said it was incorrect even though I’m sure it was correct. I tried Jumpdrive, I can’t remember for sure but I think even there it didn’t accept my password. I had to reflash and restore from backup (call history, chatty db, address book). But since I’ve had to do this 2 or 3 times now, I can restore from backup pretty quickly, so it’s not that much of an issue. I just have to remember to run emborg once a week or so.
