I’ve added my DNS IP into the file /etc/resolv.conf
and tested it without rebooting.
Tested with dnslookup and now name resolution works.
Tested with updating inside Terminal: works
Tested with web-browser: works
Rebooted the L5 and as predicted resolv.conf
was set back to it’s original state and content.
Next I checked the journal for error messages (used your command).

The last line shows an error but I don’t know what next step I must take to find the cause of that error.
Also, is this error a serious error or can it be discarded?
Anyway, many thanks for your patience and helping me.
Something else I’ve noticed is that the display scale setting is back to 200% after a reboot.
Is this behavior linked to my DNS problem?
