firefox-esr 140 menus not clickable

Hi,

Since when:

Since the last firefox-esr updates (140) I am facing not clickable menus. On my two librem 14 up to date

When

On a new or old window, after restart of the app, almost on all “environment menus”

  • Environment menus are appearing correctly BUT elements are not clckable with the mouse. I have to move with the arrow keys.

Buggy behavior

  • Click on icons: click (first level) displays the menu, but elements are clickable only once. On second clck on the icon, menu appears correctly but elements are not clickable any more.

Where in the window (from left to right):

  • in the address bar: the safety icon, the ssl icon, the bookmark icon,
  • search icon
  • download icon
  • the three lline on the right side
  • but extension icons all work fine.

Any idea?

Firefox 140.6.0esr is still working for me in the areas you mentioned. Maybe something got corrupted during an update; try reinstalling it with sudo apt reinstall firefox-esr and seeing if that fixes the issue.

Also confirm exact version.

Also try creating a brand new Firefox profile in case it is something scrozzled in your particular profile.

Also fault isolate with a Live Boot (which may have to be live-updated in order to match the exact version).
