Flawless Filters: Static Filter Rules for uBlock Origin

This is one project I am working on to severely debloat my web browsing experience. These static filter rules are designed to work with uBlock Origin’s default enabled filter lists without any additional configuration. Currently the main document is formatted as a nested tree structure for an easy-to-read experience with commented lines for explanation. It is organized by highest to lowest priority:

Removing URL Parameters

This is a basic guide to removing URL parameters using uBlock Origin by creating static filter rules. Q: What are URL parameters? A: They are parameters with values appended after the URL, usually for analytic and tracking purposes. What is problematic about how web browsing works now is that I have to test both desktops and mobile layouts on different devices. For example, on KVR Audio, threads on The Main Forums have no ad-injections on desktop, but are present on mobile:

One of the neatest tricks Big Tech ever pulled was convincing people that phones weren’t general-purpose computers and should have different rules than laptops or desktops. These rules conveniently give the vendor more control so that you don’t own a smartphone so much as you rent it. Now that the public has accepted these new rules for phones, vendors are starting to apply the same rules to laptops and desktops.
