Odds are that PCIe 4.0 will be supported similar to the Librem 11, but I am curious if the Librem 16 will support DDR5.

I noticed another odd detail about the drive in regards to the CPU: the Intel N5100 only supports up to PCIe 3.0, so it seems like the Kingston KC3000 is a significant value-added product.

The Librem 11 does not actually support PCIe 4.0, even though it uses the Kingston KC3000, which is a PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe drive. There is still a very real possibility that the Librem 16 may use a CPU that supports up to PCIe 3.0 instead of 4.0 or above.
