I’ve personally adopted this method since I cracked the original back case after several openings:
- Pull back the notch enough to get my fingernail under the un-notched section.
- Run my fingernail around the back cover with my fingernail under the plastic case to release all the clips holding it
It’s worth noting that Purism replaced the back cover for free which was nice.
