If you’re not a resident of the EU, the VAT is deducted at checkout, actually.

Shipping was free for me, too, but I don’t know if that’s always the case for the Omnia, or if it was a temporary promotion.
In any case, I’m very happy with the Omnia and shouldn’t have to replace it for a long time.
