My employer is co-sponsoring the Deutschlandticket as a job ticket, and doesn’t offer it in card form. Forfeiting a co-sponsored ticket just to have it as a chip card doesn’t make any sense.

The good things about:
The best privacy I could find (no 3rd party website trackers), you can buy it even on the month you need it (on other companies you have to buy something before last day of last month, 5 days before last month ends or even 10 days before - here you could also buy mid month of same month). Ticket can be downloaded as PDF - works very well with L5 lockscreen ticket addon.
And of course they can’t do anything about the stupid limitations like “being an abo” or “if you buy on 28th of the month, you still have to pay the full price, but can only use it 1-4 days”. They even delete your account if a specific amount of time unused (I think it was 2 years), which is good practice as privacy by default. (Info not just for Lliure.)
