It astounds me how, even today, I have yet to meet a single person outside the security nerd community who uses Tor, and very few convert when I explain to them why it’s in the interest of their own personal safety. It’s like telling people they should eat healthier food. They see the logic, but then the mammalian brain takes over, and it’s back to potato chips and Windows 10.

That was a misapprehension on my part then. I thought you already had your phone. In any case I will definitely come back to this when I have my phone, along with many other things that I will want to look into.

what is easier to believe ? that M$ spies on you or that there is a killer virus that can be resisted by wearing a mask and full-country-lockdown ?
