Hi all hope everyone is well :+1:

Quick questions

  1. Has anyone here had success with using the Librem 5 & a monitor they bought directly from Purism?

  2. If yes to question 1, what type / make of monitor comes from Purism?

3 ) Has anyone had any success using a monitor not purchased from Purism with the Librem 5?

Lastly, Evergreen for Christmas maybe? :blush::blush::+1:

Christmas & L5 would be great :heavy_check_mark:

I’m not sure if displays were shipped with the early batches. However, I do know for certain that other developers on the team have successfully displayed stuff on external displays with the L5.

Thanks dcz thats great news.

What I really need to know, is what types / makes of monitors will work with the L5?

And what equipment is needed to connect the L5 to a monitor?

It depends on the type of port your monitor has. You need a USB-C to HDMI adapter cable, USB-C to DisplayPort cable or USB-C to USB-C cable. (I’m not sure if anyone has tested USB-C to VGA or DVI so far, but that probably works as well.)
