Yes the reference to VPN was related to the trust model and protecting subscriber information, not actual encrypted networked traffic. This is based on a quip I made internally when once describing the AweSIM model of acting as a proxy for our cellular customers’ information to the upstream cellular backbone.

Part of advertising new products should be updating the specs as soon as they become available.The latest and greatest Librem 5 USA is a very expensive example that lacks the basic information in the main page of Purism.
The technical specs are lacking almost everything concerning the not made in USA case. Only made in China is mentioned.
What is the case made off? The glass front is what kind of glass? Gorilla,1-6? Plastic?
Still part of the technical specs.,certainly if advertised as a mobile for the next 10 years.
Those are the little things that don’t seem important but can make or brake a sale.

Look at the specs for the normal Librem 5, they are the same except for where it is assembled.
