I would imagine so. And if one put linux on a windows machine it would be a defenestratad computer.

Sort of reverse defenestration, you think? Instead of throwing the computer out the window, you’re throwing the window(s) out the computer.

I think it would not be de-linuxed because lineageos is based on Android which means it still uses some version of the Linux kernel.
Yes, it’s a little bit like this:
Person A says: “I am working really hard on making this new thing that will make the world a better place, it’s hard work and I am alone, please come and help me out!”
Person B responds: “Great, I will not help because it seems risky, but I am watching carefully to see if you succeed. As soon as you are done I will be real quick to jump in and enjoy the benefits. In the meantime I will play it safe.”
