Pureos Default CAMERA!

I Notice that pureos 10.3 And Crimson currently using Cheese camera app. not gnome camera(snapshot). why is that using cheese instead of gnome camera?
and on the pureos software the gnome camera is outdated and when i check to the source code it use the old repo. and there is the latest one named snapshot
