I’ve seen my phone using 3G occasionally, although it is usually on 4G.
Sounds like you need to describe this and request a feature from… somewhere. I’m not actually sure who might be responsible for that feature in the settings. Anyone else?
It needs to be persistent and secure. In my country there is also potential for this. And there are several potential dangers of hostile nations playing shenanigans around the world. For some reason some other settings are not persistent either.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
I am writing and sending this on my lapdock (which wasn’t working before because broken USB board), through the mobile connection (which wasn’t working before, see topic)
I found and fixed the issue, very simple once I could see it, but I was just not confident to disassemble the phone for fear I’d break something else. Anyway, the antenna cable at the bottom, next to the microphone, had disconnected. So I had to disassemble and reassemble the entire thing.
(Haven’t tested of wifi still works, hopefully I didn’t disconnect the wifi antenna this time )
