Squeekboard release 1.16.0

Hi folks,

we’ve pushed out another release of Squeekboard! This one is pretty boring (some will say that’s a good thing), with mosly cleanups and translations.

Thanks to all translators!

  • Ukrainian (Yuri Chornoivan)
  • Swedish (Luna Jernberg)
  • Friulian (Fabio Tomat)
  • Romanian (Daniel Șerbănescu)
  • Slovenian (Matej Urbančič)
  • Dutch (Nathan Follens)
  • Finnish (Jiri Grönroos)
  • Persian (Danial Behzadi)
  • Catalan (Jordi Mas i Hernandez)

Extra points for the (potentially) toxic naming
I hope the project keeps getting oxygen

So the changes are strictly, ah, cosmetic?

@dos, @amarok, @amosbatto
iOS has feature were long press of any key pops-up another sub-menu, How to configure the keyboard.yaml file to show such pop-up menu?

You probably failed to tag the one person that you should have tagged: @dcz

Also discussed here: OSK with multiple language characters (without much result) and here: Using non-latin language on Librem 5 (with a relevant comment, but also rather old).

Sorry, no idea! :man_shrugging:

Hey! I was left behind: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/squeekboard/-/commits/master/data/keyboards/br.yaml

Luís Fernando Stürmer da Rosa authored 1 year ago and dcz committed 1 year ago

You were added in 1.9.3 already  https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/squeekboard/-/commit/1ee58ce7a0d8513b5381190bead7c27a4e899f75

That’s even before we started making release announcements.

The Brazilian Portugese translation in this release is different than the layout you made: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/squeekboard/-/commit/b85903cb217ca17924b13bee1a529ab037bd6230

Nevertheless, thank you for the layout! Your contribution is not forgotten.
