Extra points for the (potentially) toxic naming
I hope the project keeps getting oxygen

So the changes are strictly, ah, cosmetic?
@dos , @amarok , @amosbatto
iOS has feature were long press of any key pops-up another sub-menu, How to configure the keyboard.yaml file to show such pop-up menu?
You probably failed to tag the one person that you should have tagged: @dcz
Also discussed here: OSK with multiple language characters (without much result) and here: Using non-latin language on Librem 5 (with a relevant comment, but also rather old).

You were added in 1.9.3 already https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/squeekboard/-/commit/1ee58ce7a0d8513b5381190bead7c27a4e899f75
That’s even before we started making release announcements.
The Brazilian Portugese translation in this release is different than the layout you made: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/squeekboard/-/commit/b85903cb217ca17924b13bee1a529ab037bd6230
Nevertheless, thank you for the layout! Your contribution is not forgotten.
