I am sorry about the misleading effect of advertisement. We all have consumer rights.
A normal ‘big time’ smartphone to me is like around 800 ~ 1000 estimate in currency. That’s pretty pricey. I understand there are other markets, but for smartphones in the latest developments, they obviously be less affordable. Not to mention that you probably can’t fix the mainstream smartphones. It’s possible that some unauthorized person have trespassed on smartphones by physical or electronic access. And I haven’t mention earlier cellphone designs.
I don’t know what defines as a gatekeeper or autism, but critique would require cited academic references. Impartial judgement would require the practice of law. It’s true that Linux may not be convenient by certain standards. It’s just its own kind of standard, like language, nothing else. To Linux, is to strive.
But yes, if the advertisement was misleading and the product does not accommodate to your personal preferences, there is no pressure against a request for a refund or return.
