To be honest this just add more control and benefits for the company(Purism,Intel,SparkLan) THAN for user. We dont have to trust on blackboxes even if it has a humble changelog, evenworse that this happening on FSF Verified Operating System as Gnu Pure OS does.
The main Approach for Gnu System it to give an absolute FREEDOM OS over FEATURES OS.
If PureOS it not on the Free Software Foundation’s list then i would keep my mouth shut and not say anything about blobs or freedom.
