Unreliable 4G (LTE) connectivity

@fsflover I don’t see any mention of the current firmware version in the thread you quoted. It just says that M100E-1.0.0_190426 is outdated. I have a newer one.

Here’s the output of bm818-fw-check:

chat: Jul 17 17:12:55 +BMSWVER: M100E_YCSN0_1.0.0_220926,YCSN0_M100E_1BAD_3117_V1.0.0.2_20220930,M100E_1.0.4_200715
M100E_YCSN0_1.0.0_220926
YCSN0_M100E_1BAD_3117_V1.0.0.2_20220930
M100E_1.0.4_200715

The first line seems to represent the exact output triple of AT+BMSWVER.
Line 2–4 are just the three components of that same triple.

According to @FrankyFlawless’s comment, I have the latest version if I take the middle component of the triple, i.e. line 3.

So yes, I’d say that my firmware is current.

@JR-Fi Before March 2025: see original post above. To summarize: purchased a mobile 5G router, got second SIM card from same provider, works fine there.
Since March 2025: Haven’t checked anything else because I’m completely out of ideas what to try. I merely continued trying to use the phone in public but nothing has improved.

Out of desperation and lack of ideas to try (and to prepare for possibly sending the broken L5 in for repair), I purchased a second, identical L5 and will be using that to help pinpoint whether the issues are going to persist with the ersatz unit. Will report back.
