Hey guys despite being an avid Librem 5 user, I bought a mainstream society cheap android from the store to use for a bit to make sure I’m considered to be available for my job.
But I often wish that instead I could just boot a Librem 5 into a compromised OS because I like the hardware better - for example if it could boot Android and use those UIs. In the past when I booted Waydroid on PureOS Crimson on an SD card, it was almost exactly the way into pretending to fit into society that I sort of wish I had, but it would heat up like a fireball and eat all the Librem 5 battery at warp speed.
Does anybody know if other distros like Mobian or PostmarketOS are at a point where they get good battery life on Waydroid?
Edit:
Also it would be nice to have higher confidence that audio IO would work on Waydroid.
