I haven’t come accross any statement from purism other than that an integration of the Email-chat plugin in the “Chatty” app would be welcome (plug-in is ready for packaging: [install purple-plugin-delta] support out-of-box Email-chat spec communication (#96) · Issues · Librem5 / chatty · GitLab).
