For sale are two Librem 5 USAs (Made in USA Librem 5). They are barely used.

Each phone includes:

  • Purism Librem 5 USA with the US modem (BM818-A1)
  • PD 18W USB-C charger (US plug, UK and EU adapters included)
  • USB-C cable
  • 128 GB microSD card (SanDisk Extreme, SDXC, V30, U3, A2)
  • Purism OpenPGP Card
  • In-ear headphones (3.5mm jack)
  • microSD adapter (microSD card to SD card)
  • SIM card tray eject tool
  • Librem 5 quick start guide

If I had the money, I’d go for both, since it gives me two motherboards and two screens if something happens to my main one… But it also allows me to do testing and porting and such across the other L5s. Even try out experimental configs that I otherwise won’t have

Very tempting. What is are they running?pmos or pureos? And is the wifi module the sparkLan one? Thanks. Purism liberty phone is back ordered.

I just re-flashed them with the latest stable PureOS, but you can flash whatever OS you want. The Wi-Fi module is the Redpine Signals one.

Looks like Purism via Opensource were never interested on rev1.5 for libre community. Shame of course.

@VClaw just pointed out to me that these are not Liberty Phones, they are Librem 5 USAs. They only have 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage.
I didn’t realize that Purism discontinued the Librem 5 USA, I thought they had simply re-branded them as Liberty Phones.
Sorry for the false advertising! :grimacing:

Haha, thanks for uploading the image. I was looking for liberty phone so I was a bit cautious because I was confused at the beginning when they advertised liberty phone too. No worries, I will just wait for another used one to appear before the hardware gets far too old. :smiley:

I briefly saw liberty phone was in stock in the purism site, but a week later, is backordered again. I don’t know how many units do they produce per batch, can’t be sell out that quick for a large unit
