3G or 4G card for the Librem 13?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to purchase a special m.2 NGFF or WWAN card that I could install on a Librem 13 laptop which would enable 3G, 4G, or LTE capabilities. I was thinking something along the lines of this:

This example seems to work in ThinkPad laptops, and I was wondering if there was an equivalent card that I could purchase and install for Librem laptops. Is this possible? If so, would the drivers for this LTE card compromise my privacy in any way? Is there a specific card that comes recommended?

How do you mean “seems to work”? Is it working or not? :slight_smile: Is it working without non-free firmware? If yes, then it will work on Librem, too. It will work in Librem, and if the card is working with a free OS (like Trisquel for example), then it will work in PureOS, too.
