PureOS is Debian based?
Apart from PureOS pre-install we have no plans, at least yet, to offer other pre-installed OSes. This also has to do with pre-shipment testing etc. But we will offer manuals and howtos describing how to install other OSes (the ones that we know of working on the Librem5).
