It seems that my alt mouse button stopped working on my Librem 15. I think it’s correlated to a recent software update - the update went below the OS (presumably to update drivers?) Is anyone else having this problem?

Same problem here I lost right click and centre click options on the track pad, Its like be rest to a 90’s mac!!!
I am also having this problem on my Librem 15 v3 running PureOS, after an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade using repo.puri.sm/pureos/ green main as the only repo in my sources.list a few days ago.
After the update I am running gnome-tweaks-3.27.90-1 (with a spiffy new icon) and mousetweaks-3.12.0-4
Immediately after apt-get update, the trackpad was incredibly laggy. I launched Settings and, after toggling the Touchpad off and then on again, the lag disappeared.
However, right mouse click is still totally disabled. If I open Settings -> Devices -> Mouse & Touchpad and then set the Right button as primary, there are no touchpad clicks.
Also, I notice Ctrl + left click does not respond (although Ctrl + scroll works fine to zoom).
Not sure what additional info would be helpful to diagnose and fix.
Could you guys check your /var/log/apt/history.log file and upload it here so we can see what packages were upgraded.

You need to change the mouse settings in GNOME Tweaks back to “Area”; for some reason, the latest update changed it to something else.
