Anecdotal? Higher display brightness fixes display cable issues?

I want to appeal to the collective intelligence in this forum, and ask if the following is plausible:

My display was not working reliably without a bunch of wiggling the the lid. (I’ve posted about it several times here) I turned up the display brightness (which I have normally very low) and it seems like my display stays on now throughout sessions, and is working more reliably when resuming from standby.

If this is in fact connected what could be the reasoning? Does more current running through the line just make it harder for potential line breaks to not affect it?

Sounds like the higher current is mitigating signal loss somewhere in the line, whether it’s a loose connector breaking wire what have you. Else entirely. It does make it sound like it would be limited to the power signal rather than image quality signal.
