Annoying issue: paused podcast resumes after ending a phone call

I us my Librem 5 with Crimson a lot to listen to podcasts with GNOME Podcasts, installed as flatpak.

In general the Podcasts app works very well, but there is an annoying issue. When I pause a podcast, and after some time do a phone call, the podcasts resumes automatically when the phone call is ended.

I reported this issue already a while ago here, but I’m wondering if this is a pure Podcasts issue, or more an interaction issue between the audio system of the Librem 5 and Podcasts?

It happens to me as well but I am using clapper.

This would be a phosh thing, but before reporting there it’s probably best to check whether it also happens in the latest upstream version.
