Apt sources.list problem? Trouble getting packages. Are things moving to Crimson?

Execute:

sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

and then sudo apt update and retry.

Make sure it’s spelled EXACTLY this way, with no additional spaces or other characters anywhere.
