Helo,
I want to buy me a lapdock, but shipping tax is too big.
Where can I buy any other lapdock, which works with Librem 5?

I’m unclear on what distinction you are making (for example, where are you located? and what is shipping tax?) but both the NexDock and the UPERFECT somewhat work with the Librem 5.
Does the UDox X 15.6 Pro work with Librem 5? It’s a dock, which doesn’t need a cable. Or is it necessarily to connect it by USB C?
Not sure, but it does require a USB-C cable connection as far as I know. Here is the list of tested lapdocks from the Librem 5 Community Wiki:
I believe so. I don’t think the support for wireless display is there yet in the Librem 5 and in any case you won’t get any charging of the Librem 5 if you don’t have a cable.
Would be great if somebody would tell me if NexDock XL or UDox X 15.6 Pro does work with Librem 5.
on that product name will bring up one other hit - so perhaps pursuing questions about that specific product in that other topic may get some information.
Unless someone jumps in, I think noone owns one and hence noone knows. So, depending on your available funds, you tell us.
I’ve contact NexDock and they said, that NexDock XL does work for Librem 5, but just with USB C.
I use a HP Elite X Lap Dock with my Librem 5 successfully
In theory, any spec-compliant dock compatible with USB-C DisplayPort 1.2 alt-mode should work just fine.
In practice, some hubs and docks can be quirky. The main thing to look at is how much power do they provide to the phone at 5V. Some docks don’t do voltage regulation, end up requesting 3A at 5V from the power source and then reserve so much power for their own operation that what’s left isn’t enough to power the phone - so that’s definitely something to keep an eye on.
One aspect affecting Purism’s extended backorder of the Lapdock kit is that the ODM has discontinued the SKU in favor of a wireless model. Purism is thoroughly testing compatibility with the updated SKU. Upon successful testing, this new SKU will replace the current one.
Does that mean
?
I don’t yet know the testing procedure, but can generally state that the goal for product offering is feature parity and Librem device compatibility.
