Benign Board Bodges?

I received my Librem 15v3 yesterday, so of course the first thing I did was take it to bits. It looks and works wonderfully, and feels to be of a robust quality; but I noticed a few things that gave me pause.

The locations suggest that they are involved in the killswitch functionality for the WIFI/BT radio and microphone. Are these bodges known and intentional?

I second this; I noticed one on my wi-fi card, and I have had repeated problems with the signal going in and out, if I move too far away from the access point.
