Best HTML 5 Websites/Apps for Librem 5?

Ok, this forum needs more fun posts. This phone is seriously cool. What are people’s favorite Librem 5 webapps?

Here are my favorites using a browser with mobile view switcher:

Ebay.com
Amazon.com

Proton Drive
Movim.eu
Enphase Evolution (for solar monitoring)
Plugshare.com
IDOfishing.com
Discord (this is actually not a great experience)
Purism Forums
Youtube.com (not great)

Ok. I realize the above list is a bit dorky. I also realize there are some cool websites out there that people rely on, play games on, waste time on, use for work, etc. Is there anything people recommend or is this stuff totally subjective?

Cheers!

Wikipedia. Is it information or is it entertainment? Only you can decide for yourself.

Well I can speak to what I plan to use once I get my phone…

Not exactly fun but my two bank websites for sure.

Also for sure I will have a shortcut to my Home Assistant on my home server.

Since the last FF ESR update a couple of days ago. I see big improvement (far less blinking!)," so I am considering a switch back from Epiphany. I’m sure I’ll get around to the cool HTML5 apps, but what is “mobile view switcher”? Sounds useful!

That’s a very old article… lots has changed in FF since 2018, but that toggle is still there. I set the toggle, restarted FF and scaling/presentation is much better!

Still can’t see the forum URL and would really like the controls at the bottom, but improvement is good!

OK… the user agent FF addons are unusable because their configuration menus flicker. Hoiwever, I played around with different uastrings using developer mode and settled “Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 11; SAMSUNG SM-G973U) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) SamsungBrowser/14.2 Chrome/87.0.4280.141 Mobile Safari/537.36” as being generally presentable. I set it as the value for general.useragent.override in about:config and… SUCCESS! Back to beloved Firefox.

I’m still waffling between FF and Brave. I notice that Brave can bog down some times and actually lock up completely I know it’s still a beta for ARM processors so maybe they have some stuff to work out yet. I’m giving FF another chance because I found it slow when I first got the Librem 5 but it does seem a bit peppier now after the latest update.

Does anybody know how much battery Brave uses versus Firefox? Firefox goes through a lot of battery.

I’d also be interested in GNOME Web aka Epiphany vs. Firefox for battery usage.
My plan was to keep my “web apps” in Epiphany.

I’ve gone back to FF because Brave was using tons of my cell data for some unknown reason.
