Blinking Display

I am using a Librem 14/Pureos Byzantium and the display started randomly blinking (to black) for as much as 2 seconds just today. This problem has happened before, last year, and after a kernel update it stopped.

Do any librem 14 users have any suggestions? Using the 5.10.35 kernel now.
And keyboard response during the ‘blinks’ repeats keys – which is new.

Have not made any changes recently other than removing old kernels the supposedly
safe way with dpkg–leaving current kernel and a backup. I also have the librem-ec-acpi module loaded.

If there are any external peripherals connected to the Librem 14, remove them.

Thanks for the reply. No devices connected, actually ever to laptop. The blinking has stopped.

At the time I was running firefox-esr; and previously when the blink events happened also running firefox. At least for now it is not an issue. Was hoping someone had some tips to prevent. Thanks again.
