Hello, am I correct in thinking that the microphone does not work with Camera (Dev Preview) and so the videos it records are always muted? My microphone is on, and it says that no program has requested use of the microphone, so I’m thinking the app doesn’t yet function with recording sound for videos.

Hmm, okay, it may not be the Librem 5 audio recording problem. It may be my video player on my Librem 14. All of my videos aren’t playing audio, not just Librem 5 recording videos. I installed VLC and also couldn’t get it to play the audio to any of my videos. Everything is unmuted and volume is fine, so I’m at a loss as to why I’m not getting audio output on my Videos. Any ideas?

Nevermind. I’m an idiot. I went to sound and the Videos program was set to mute, for some reason.

Playing videos sometimes defaults to muted in case the videos are NSFW.
