Cannot Remove Package

I know that I’ve seen this addressed somewhere in the forum, but I can’t find it…

Problem: I uninstalled Transmission (torrent client) from the terminal and all indications showed success… except the desktop launcher is still there and still launches the app!

What to do??

BTW, Fragments is a much better experience than Transmission on the L5.

Did you try: “sudo apt purge Transmission” (or whatever the proper package name is)?

Are you sure you have not installed the flatpak version?

Purge says Transmission is not installed but did find some related packages to autoremove. No Transmission flatpak installed.

Hey! Autoremoving the stray packages did it!
