Cant answer or reject call waiting calls - wild vibration have to reboot

Every time I’m on a call and receive another call my L5 will not let me reject or answer the call even when pressing the button. The person that I’m connected to cannot hear me any longer. Additionally, the L5 wildly vibrates and will not quit until I reboot the phone even when the call ends.

I have two L5 and both of them do this directly out of the box since I received them 4 months ago.

Disabling calls notifications and DND does not work either for sound or vibrate.

Does anyone else have this experience or know any ideas to trouble shoot / fix this issue?

Just to clarify “out of the box”, you have updated them, haven’t you? It may not help, but app versions nonetheless may have updated some small way since then.

There seems to be an old issue by @evangelos.tzaras that may be related: https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/wys/-/issues/12 (still open). Comment on that or make a new one.

Both phones have been updated. One of the phones has nothing more than the factory software installed and the other is a daily driver that get updates daily. Both phone have this issue.

The caller can hear audio but they say it is staticky. I think it is the vibration that they hear because it vibrates non stop until reboot.

To me It does not seem that that issue reflects my current situation.

I have had the same experience once. It was just as you described it. Couldn’t accept or reject the call waiting, the phone kept vibrating and the mic lost audio with the call i was on.

I don’t get too many calls so I only observed it the one time.
