Clone SSD Librem 14 Qubes OS

If I get a larger SSD (from Newegg, Amazon, whatever), how easy is it to clone a Librem 14’s SSD with Qubes OS over to the larger? Any issues or things to look out for for PureBoot? Would the Qubes system just see the additional space or would I have to do some resizing once booted (gparted?)?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, there were some somewhat related forum posts, but wondering if anyone had experience with this particular kind of thing.

Thanks!

Hi @jlariviere, wecome to the Community! The documentation suggests to make a backup and restore instead: https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/how-to-back-up-restore-and-migrate/#migrating-between-two-physical-machines. It also makes it more secure, since the new dom0 is less likely to be compromized.

If you still prefer cloning, I think it should also be possible. But you should make a backup anyway.
