SeaBIOS reports ‘Booting From Hard Disk’ for USB drives, so that’s not indicative of anything.
If your USB isn’t booting, it’s not formatted/written in a way that’s compatible with SeaBIOS. As most/all ISOs are “hybrid” type, the best way to write to USB is as an image (dd, etcher, etc) vs using some crappy tool like unetbootin
I think it was because of the bootloader but it finally worked. Thaks so much for your help!
We need more information: what version exactly you downloaded, what are your other laptops (it may be helpful) etc. There’s a simply step you can do: download the Ubuntu image again and copy it to the USB and try again.
