Does anyone have one-time passwords working on the Librem 5 via gpg card?

I’m setting up my Librem 5 with a gpg smartcard to generate TOTP one-time passwords. On a desktop, the Librem Key (which is a USB interface for the Purism gpg smartcard) is recognized by the Nitrokey app, which allows you to manage OTP secrets and generate passwords. On the phone, the Nitrokey app is available for download, but it doesn’t recognize the smartcard inserted directly into the phone’s internal smartcard slot (the card is accessible via gpg commands).

Before digging into this too far, I wanted to see if anyone had gotten OTP passwords working on the Librem 5. I searched the forum and didn’t find anything. Has anyone already gotten this working?

No, the ZeitControl OpenPGP card does not support HOTP/TOTP storage and is not capable as a password manager either.

Are you saying the HOTP/TOTP storage on the Librem Key comes from the key itself rather than from the ZeitControl card?

Edit: from a quick search, that does seem to be the case. Thanks for the clarification.
