Hey. I apologize in advance for the probably silly question. We are considering buying a Librem 5 and I am unable to find information on the puri.sm website if Librem 5 is natively capable of end to end encrypted calls with a second Librem 5 phone. Ideally we would like the calls with the second Librem 5 owner to be automatically encrypted and not using a third party app like Signal etc. Is this possible?

Native encryption Calls via OLM is not yet implemented in Librem 5, however SMS is implemented recently.

Purism to hire and bring back to Julian Sparber to finally implement native calls encrypted in Librem 5 via Phosh.

No, but hardware-encrypted Matrix chatrooms are supported for each Librem 5 using an OpenPGP card:
