Error when trying to set up Bluemail.me account

I’m trying to set up Bluemail on my Librem 14. I’ve downloaded the Deb File and installed it.

Desktop Linux | BlueMail App

App installs no problem.

When I go to set up an account in Bluemail, I cannot get it to finish setting up the account
Here are some screenshots in case it’s helpful:

1. Select the email account

3. Assign Permissions
   

   

4. When I click “Continue” on that screen, I get this little pop-up in my Brave Browser
   

   

5. If I click Cancel, the app just hangs, see below screenshow. If I click “Open BlueMail” it opens another instance of Bluemail and brings me back to step 1.

6. I also tried setting up the server settings manually and the app also just hangs

Try using Firefox ESR.
