Failed command: WRITE FPDMA QUEUED

This happened to me (log in dmesg):

[446380.169200] ata1.00: exception Emask 0x0 SAct 0xffffffff SErr 0x0 action 0x6 frozen
[446380.175183] ata1.00: failed command: WRITE FPDMA QUEUED

[446380.180356] ata1.00: status: { DRDY }

Ducking around the internet (not googling ofc.) I found that usual resolution is firmware upgrade.

Is it a known issue?

Please provide more info:

Is this a Librem device (if yes, what is the coreboot version?), what drive is in question, how you can reproduce, etc.

Librem: 15v3
Coreboot: 4.7-18-g7ac4919b8a-4.7-Purism-4
Drive: biwin ssd 120GB (it was shipped with laptop. if you need more details, please tell me what you need and where I can find them)
Steps to reproduce: I don’t know. It just happened once.

Happily SMART is not reporting any errors and I haven’t found any issues with data on my disk.

You need to upgrade your coreboot, please see here for instructions:

Thanks for your response. I’ll try when I have some free time.

If this issue is fixed in newer coreboot version, we can assume this issue to be closed.
