Failed to connect to lvmetad

Hi,

After using the software bleachbit to clean up the system, after restarting the librem 13 v2, and after successfully adding my pwd to decrypt the hard drive, I get this error ;
firmware : failed to load i915/sk1_dmc_ver 1-26
Failed to connect to lvmetad Failling back to device scanning
Volume Group “crypt” not found

2 logical volume(s) in volume group “crypt” now active
/dev/mapper/crypt-root : clean,…

From there I’m totally locked, the all thing is down :s

Any idea please :’

apparently a similar error occured upgrading the OS : https://askubuntu.com/questions/691680/upgrade-to-15-10-fouled-sda5-crypt

as a newbie, I dont know how to manage this properly and easily :s

when I run the recovery mode, after successfully putting my pwd to uncrypt the drive, I have at some line : cannot open access to console, the root account is locked

i finally re-installed the all system.
Issue is closed.

Per kakaroto’s advice I’ll post here: I’m seeing this failed to connect to lvmetad error, and would love a way to fix it without a reinstall, or failing that merely an understanding of what’s going on

WARNING: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Failling back to device scanning.
Volume group “[name]” not found
Cannot process volume group [name]

I get the same exact error message, although I’m able to unlock my encrypted hard drive and use my Librem without issue. Would love to solve this bug though so no future issues arise.

Yeah, everything seems to work (aside from my SATA failing down to 3gbps rather than running at 6).
