flash-kernel triggers looping

I got a looping with my last update upgrade on L5:

dpkg: error processing package flash-kernel (--configure):
 triggers looping, abandoned
Errors were encountered while processing:
 linux-image-6.18.0.1-librem5
 linux-image-librem5
 libvlc-bin:arm64
 flash-kernel
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I solved telling dpkg to configure all packages that are only half-installed or unpacked:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

I have not yet tried on my L14.

Has anyone else got a similar issue?

Yes. This should be harmless and self-correcting, but an update to prevent it from happening in the first place is about to enter the repositories. It’s Librem 5 specific.
