This is amazing work!
I would love to know how to:

  • Disable hidpi scaling in phoc
  • Switch to virtboard.
  • Install Mesa 19.3

  1. Copy /usr/share/phosh/rootston.ini to /etc/phosh/rootston.ini and change scale = 2 to scale = 1
  2. Install virtboard and comment out squeekboard lines in /usr/bin/osk-wayland
  3. For now I’ve simply debootstrapped Debian sid, chrooted into it (after bind-mounting all stuff like /sys, /proc, /dev etc.) and installed Mesa 19.3 from experimental.

Mandatory disclaimer: those are bad hacks, don’t follow those instructions unless you know what you’re doing :wink:

I would love to showcase your website in a video. Perhaps even walk through how to setup some of these tweaks.
Would you be okay with that if I forward the disclaimer?
(I’m already planning to make a video on reflashing. Might as well show how to break things too)

#chess-for-the-win

not really interested in anything else game related but would love a nice polished-3D chess game for gnu/linux such as Chess-Master with tutorials etc. online matches are a must :wink:
