Great RNDIS Purge: L5 affected?

Just found this:

and someone in the comments on that page quoted:

As it stands, currently the only phones that don’t use RNDIS and instead use CDC NCM are the Pixel 6 and 7 lines of phones.

On the other hand, we know that the L5, being a labor of love, has been designed to embrace modern features wherever feasible, so suggesting that it depends on such a legacy interface like RNDIS would strike me as very odd and out of character for the L5. Searching this forum for CDC NCM yields a few results that seem to indicate that it supports the latter, but no conclusive answer.

So, is the Great RNDIS Purge going to affect the Librem 5, or not?

@dos probably knows, but I suspect that Purism has little affiliation to Microsoft at this point, other than DuckDuckGo as the default search engine on Epiphany.

No. Librem 5 used to use CDC ECM for USB networking and switched to CDC NCM about 9 months ago. RNDIS was never used by default.
