Has anyone tried the Liberty Phone?

I was also curious about the Liberty Phone? What is different about it than the Librem 5. I am guessing the internals are better than previous.

It’s an USA version with 128GB storage (instead of 32GB) and 4GB RAM (instead of 3GB). Everything else is exactly the same.

There are two separate questions.

  1. What’s the difference between the Librem 5 and the Librem 5 USA Edition?

No difference in specifications but the USA Edition is manufactured in the US by Purism with Purism having greater control over the supply chain and having control over assembly (whereas the Librem 5 is manufactured in China).

  1. What’s the difference between the Librem 5 USA Edition and the Liberty Phone?

The specifications, as given in the second post.

So putting that together then the difference between the Librem 5 and the Liberty Phone is both the specifications and the manufacturing.
