Holding and dragging without a mouse on Linux

Is it possible to hold and drag UI elements is apps without connecting a mouse?

I’m trying to collapse the annoying side bar/pane in Signal.

Would appreciate any tips. Thanks.

P.S. Tried Flare already - surprisingly it’s performance is worse than the bloated Signal electron app although UI is perfect.

I remember old Apple][ games where you could old the arrow keys down with shift and the pointer would move right, left, up, and down. Those asteroids and space invaders would always win however.

I was initially, but now on postmarketOS until Crimson comes out…
