New Librem 15v3 owner. For now I’m trying to learn and keep everything “stock”. I’m familiar with Software Updater in Ubuntu 16.04 and 17.10. When I try to update PureOS and downloaded software via the update button in Settings->About, or in the PureOS software updater, it shows it’s all up to date.
But when I apt-get update or apt upgrade I get a ton of updates. Do the GUI update tools not work, or am I doing it wrong?

Did you check the “Updating Apps” from the wiki? Especially, did you hit the top left button that refreshes the list?
