How do I change the keyboard backlight default setting?

Hello!

A little searching didn’t make it clear how I could control the default state of the keyboard backlight. On my 15v3 it resets to zero (off) with a reboot. I’d like it to be on the lowest setting by default.

Any ideas on how to make this happen?

There doesn’t appear to be a /leds/ directory in /sys/devices/platform/[laptop-name] as suggested in some other places.

A very recent software update seems to have changed this behavior. The system now remembers your keyboard backlight setting.

Control+Fn and that F button that has a pic of a cylinder. Sorry I don’t have the laptop with me. This is out if memory.

Only sometimes will it remember after a reboot.
