How to auto-clear phone call history older than 31-days?

I want to clear Call History of 31-days because I rerely need it past then, and scrolling down the list (with so many entries) causes the Calls app to freeze and be unable to be used unless the app is forced closed.

Somewhere to start: Details of a call Some script-fu may be needed. That’s a workaround. Better would be to give the app a feature request (Issues · GNOME / Calls · GitLab).

A feature request sounds like a better long-term solution. Maybe at 3:00 AM (for whatever current timezone) to clear everything older than 30 days (or maybe even 60 days).

I’d request it to be user defined (0-999 days), but yes.

Would be good to have that range as an option.
